DC power supply /converter for PS2

I'm assuming you mean 12V DC. Well - I see two ways:

Easy solution: buy an inverter, and plug in the AC cord to it.

Hard solution: figure out what parts inside the PS2 are being provided what voltages and supply each of them with that, bypassing the psu. Of course - this is assuming that the PS2 PSU is internal - like the XBox. I only have an Xbox - so I'm not sure.
 
so.. you want to play your playstation2 in your car, correct?
