Days Gone - Releasing on PS4 April 26, 2019

I didn't see a thread for this one, yet. It's been interesting watching this game develop, as we've had detailed looks at the game for the past several E3 conferences. Sony's daily reveal prior to the conference this year has shown us a trailer today that finally reveals the release date.



Days Gone is a game set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse (original!) that looks to have taken a lot of inspiration from The Walking Dead.

Definitely would like to play this one, but I’ Holding off from buying ps4 again (had one in the past and sold) that late into cycle. Hoping for a backwards compatibility with the next iteration coming within next year or two tbh.

I wouldn't really count on backwards compatibility being a thing going forward...plus there are a ton of great PS4 games right now, and several more coming.

Look at xbox. Besides, previously it was differencies in hardware. Actually, I’ll be very surprised if Sony won’t learn from this generation about the lack of compatibility when it all became about the eco system.

MS is specially coding on game bases for backwards compatiblly. It is one thing I can respect from MS. Sony is more interested in pushing their on demand thing over BC.
