Connery was the best overall, but I did enjoy Craig's personal demons. The two are night and day personality wise, but that's fine with me.

Sean Connery was the best Bond, nobody else comes close. I still have no idea how they cast Daniel Craig for the role?
Agreed. I'd love to see Stringer... I mean Idris in the role. He'd do a great job.I'd go for Idris Elba as a new take on him.
I must say that i also agree that Pierce Brosnan was a good Bond, just with terrible scripts.
Fassbender could be a decent Bond.
Agreed, but if he's done, I'd cast an early vote for Hardy.Daniel Craig is the best bond to date.
I thought I read earlier that he was under contract for one more. Plus like the article says, this interview was just after he finished a pretty long shooting schedule, so I'm sure right now he would just like to think about something else.
I don't really have any ideas about who should play the next Bond, but I really hope they don't try the PC thing and make him a woman. It's bad enough there are rumors about the next Doctor being one.
Meh. It's not about being PC. The Doctor having the ability to change genders upon regeneration is actually canon. They did it with Missy as the Master and she's done a cracking job at it.

Skyfall had what Quantum and Casino both severely lacked in my opinion, which had been a staple in the series since the beginning: a strong, well written and well developed villian. To me, that is what made Skyfall the best Craig movie out of the three so far, even though I did find Casino more entertaining.I thought Skyfall was over-rated...great cinematography but story was lacking...Casino Royale was the best Daniel Craig Bond movie...Spectre looks good so looking forward to seeing that
I thought TWINE was also decent, but I do think the scripts for the Brosnan films still held on to too much campiness from the Moore era. Die Another Day was just cringeworthy, nearly as much as A View to a Kill...I do agree with you. Pierce sadly got the shaft script wise. At least Goldeneye wasnt bad.

Agree completely. I think I'd cast my vote for Idris Elba over Tom Hardy, don't see Hardy having the same gravitas.
