Dang, newegg out of DDR3 1600 RAM

I wanted to order everything I needed today for a new x58 build.

Any suggestions:

1) which brand of 2Gig sticks to purchase?

2) recommended vendor that has it in stock?

3) is Cas Latency: 8 Timing: 8-8-8-24 appreciably better than Cas Latency: 9 Timing: 9-9-9-24

I ended up ordering corsair from zipzoonfly. Hopefully they really have it in stock.
 
ok cool, I have that now, good ram. I had 3 sticks of gskill for 275 that I could get out today overnight.
 
Errr. ZipZoomFly stilled hadn't shipped my order so I called this morning and they told me the memory is now on backorder. I cancelled and said it would have been nice to have been told.


Fortunately, NewEgg is showing some of the DDR 1600 memory in stock now.
 
I just ordered the patriots from multiwavevideo and got the 25% off using live. Might go that route.
 
I have been keeping track of 6GB (2GBx3) 1600 DDR3 memories since beginning of the October. It appears that sometimes Newegg hits a surge of orders that makes them run out of the DDR3 memories. Don't worry too much and give it a few days or a week. They have been refilling the DDR3 inventories fairly quickly. It happened about 3 times already, so I won't panic until I feel it's the right time to buy them for myself.
