Which means at least two different runs, one with an extra tooling stage. That means double the MOQ (minimum order per run), double the set-up cost (need to validate that extra step doesn't mess up the following steps by affecting sheet strength or further workholding setups do not impinge on the new hole, etc), double the QC (need to add an extra variable QC step), need to track two different SKUs (tripped up NCase where some people received the wrong case colour because Taiwan Post mixed up the two batches), etc.They are not really different panels, one just has an extra stage of production.
It's a massive production headache.
