It's not just production time, but shipping time as well. [...]
Anyway, I understand some of you guys are upset, but really, you need to give Dan a break. It's a massive undertaking for one person, and especially the first time doing it there's going to be some parts of the process you can't predict.
On the Dancase, the cases are packed in pallets and go from Taiwan to Germany. After the hassle and delay of a local delivery the pallets are broken open and the packages are re-labeled and sent out the other direction across the globe by Dan. On the Ncase, Lian Li ships directly to customers. This cuts out weeks of waiting for non-German customers.
The need for a 3M-branded PCIe extension, along with the combined shipping are making production runs take longer then necessary.
We all want our dan case, and its perfectly normal to feel frustrated with the situation, dont let people attack you for your honest feelings, because they are valid ones. Personally i want the problem addressed at least and a formal apology, its all im asking at this point. That's cool and all, but it does nothing to explain why US/Canadian people who ordered from overclockers or casekings *yesterday* are getting their packages already/soon, while backers from the same regions are still waiting
/salt
i just want my dan case
Ryzen will be launched ces 2018, you heard it here first, folks!Have a feeling that is going to be disappointing ...
Please dont forget to participate when you get your DAN A4

There's no need to tinyurl a spreadsheet link.
This Norwegian site got around 15 of the Asus ROG Strix Z270i mobos in stock this morning. We should see them popping up elsewhere pretty soon. Can't recommend trying to buy one from them though as they seem to be charging $250.
If you can't wait a week, they have 4 in stock as of the time of this post.

+1. nice idea.
On the subject of late transport of packages from Dan's kickstarter campaign, just remember you guys ordered your packages with a discount. People who ordered through overclockers or caseking had to pay more to get the package in those 2-3 days. What is more, those companies assume, the next time when A4-SFX cases will be available from the stock will be 15th of July 2017... and you, who backed Dan, didn't have to start for such race. Additionally, thanks to your help, such project had a chance to come to life. Dan for sure didn't want to make such situation, where backers will receive their cases later than standard retail client, but remember Daniel is a one-man-army, and while resellers have many people who are hired for sending packages, he is probably alone with that. You have to be at least a little bit more patient. I'm sure he's doing his best and now he has probably only a coffee in his veins
The longer you are waiting, the more you will appreciate what you will receive
I want the ROG swift....but i got the pro gaming.... i feel like i should have waited for the strix and also have gotten the corsair sf600.
For me it was shamelessly the color neutrality of the strix board, no decent itx boards for lga 1151Unless you have multiple M.2s, need USB type C, or plan on getting >3400Mhz ram, I don't think you'll be missing too much. The deciding factor for me was skylake vs kabylake.

I ended up purchasing the Cryorig C7 cooler could anybody recommend a good Mini-itx motherboard?
I am thinking of i7 7700 and a 1080 Graphics card.
Any recommendations on the Motherboard would really help and be appreciated.
ThanksI guess if you are not overclocking, this Gigabyte motherboard seems decent.

I bet ryzen is coming out next year.I am probably not building my Dan A4 PC until December. Hopefully, the 2nd gen 14nm AMD and Nvidia gpus come out by then.
Yup, I've already stated in my last post. Backing a Kickstarter is not buying a product (if you were buying an actual product, I'd sympathize with him). And this person, seems like they didn't even back the Kickstarter when it was available to back and had purchased someone else's spot. But enough on hounding on about this guy and his outrage, I guess I'm a little bitter about this guy acting so entitled when others have it worse.A formal apology?
Is the fact that caseking customer receive their case before has any impact on your order?
So you want Dan to say to the reseller to wait 3 weeks, so that you can feel better?
Serioulsy, you should stop looking for product on kickstarter...
Yes Dan didn t manage to send all the case before, now you can deal with it, or, deal with it.
being impatient and frustrated is ok and normal, asking for formal apology is quite outrageous.
If I was Dan, I would gladly put a stop to your wait by deeply aploging that sadly I would not be able to fulfill your order , cancel it and send you back you money.
formal apology for working 5000hrs on a case all by himself and making available....
more ventilation where the ssd trays are could give people the option to put a fan below an SFX powersupply thats neatly cable managed.I've noticed on the Dan Case website that a few things have changed since launch, such as giving info on when a new batch will be available. But my biggest interest is that the case is now being referred to as the A4-sfxV1. So this all but confirms that Dan does have plans for a V2 with incremental improvements, most likely based on feedback from v1 customers. What do you think the chances are that the July Batch will be V2?
Tracking email sent out Jan 23rd, nothing since then, DHL tracking says: "The instruction data for this shipment have been provided by the sender to DHL electronically", and that's all. Waiting impatiently for updates!Just wondering, if any UK Kickstarter members have received their case?
Got my initial DLH shipping notification 10 days ago, but heard nothing since (know Dan has been ill), but just checking.

And on the topic of motherboards, I'm getting that ASUS either way. The features it has over the others are enough for me.
Check out this comparison spreadsheet for the new 270 mini itx boards. You'll need one of these if you're planning on getting a 7700.
If you're getting a 7700k I'd recommend the asus rog strix z270i GAMING, seems like many people are waiting for them to come in stock.
If you're getting a 7700, check out the H270 boards in that spreadsheet.
I'd contact DHL when the shipment goes live and ask about import charges, they might shaft you with some really high ancillary fees, also ask them if invoiced import charges are a possibility as well.As a backer (and someone who has been following this case since 2014), I feel a little let down the people who waited till they were guaranteed a real product are getting theirs before us who backed. Yes, us kickstarters weren't buying a product. We were investors. We put our money on the line, with no guarantee of seeing anything, to make sure this case could be made. Without us, there wouldn't have been enough demand to actually make this thing. I know it's nothing like the awful kickstarter stories like Coolest Cooler, who started selling on amazon while their backers were STILL waiting, but it does feel a little like it.
I'm a little salty, but I'm comforted knowing it's coming soon. I just hope DHL isn't going to be their slow, shitty self (like when Massdrop ships with them) that is going to take an extra 2 weeks. DHL always lets me down
Isnt that gap there for GPU's that need extra wedge room to fiddle the bracket in?I think pretty slim. From what I gather, the July batch would need to be in production about now and Dan hasn't shown us any V2 stuff.
More likely, stuff like dealing with the gap above the PCI-E slot (something mentioned by Linus).
