I have a nifty little (ok not so little) 250mm fan like this:

It comes with a grill to keep out fingers, but I am using it as intake. I also have a Lian Li PC-V1000 plus with holes all over the place I'm using as exhaust. It works very well. I used this particular airflow so I could control the dust in 1 place (fan) instead of every single other opening (top, bottom, front, rear).

So. With all that said, I need a filter. I can't find any...anywhere. So I finally found a filter that won't restrict airflow so much.

But, I can't for the life of me figure out how to mount it to the case. The requirement is that it has to be removable. I really don't case how it looks, but I'd love to get rid of the tape that currently holding it in place right now.

Any ideas on how to make a fan filter holder?

Tried that. Not enough airflow, but thanks.

I think I was trying to find a way to hold the filter material to the case. I can't just put it between the grill & computer as then it's not replaceable.

Just in case anyone is trying to do research & finds this thread, here is the write-up on how I did it.

it looks funny, but if you can't find any, try putting an old panty over it.
Wow. Just Wow.

Anway, I second the pantyhose option. They're cheap, easy to get, easy to replace, and easy to clean. Plus they come in a variety of colors.
