Curious, Which card 9600GSO or 3850

Ive been out of the video card loop for a bit, and just recently started thinking about building a mid range gaming pc.

Only have about $120 for a half way decent card, mainly play at 1280x 768 resolution. Came across the 9600GS, from which I hear is just a redone 8800 series.
So im kinda asking for some opinions as to which one i should pick up.. Can get the 3850 for 120, or the 9600GSO for 109.

Which one would be the better deal? ANy help greatly appreciated.

If you shop around, spend $10 and get a 9600GT for $130. They pop up at that price occasionally.

Of course, the best "bang" for your buck would be spend $50 more and get a 4850.... You can up your resolution to 1600x1200 with a 9600GT though, so maybe that is your sweet spot.
