Curiosity's Billion-Pixel Panoramic Of Mars

wow 1.3 billion pixels of DIRT.. how about 1.3 billion pixels of kate upton topless instead, then it might be worth a look :D

Fullscreened it, screenshotted and now i have a new background for my work pc.

I expect to see a dune buggy driven by ET come up over the hill any second.

Looks more inhabitable than much of Arizona :)

1.3 terapixels and not a single martian... oooh I get it, he took the picture. :D:D

*yawns*

I think for many of us it's all "been there, done that"... wake us up when the sexy alien is spotted, please...

yeah, that seems harsh, but space exploration is harsh too :p

Makes me wish I knew about geology so I could fully appreciate this, but it's still fucking awesome.

I wish they would have done a better job photoshopping out the footprints.

Ha Ha !
made you look :)

WOW dirt and rocks. So glad the tax payers got the opportunity to fund this crap.

Jesus people this is a whole other planet.

Don't bother. Morons are more entertained with a "rat" photo for conspiracy theory nuts than actual space discovery.

Sadly this is why the entire Space Program is being hit so hard over the years.

:(

Here's something I found on /r/curiosityrover:

So, what do you think guys? Erosion? Or... something more alien?

I want that camera, the details oh the details.
On a side note, it's pretty cool to see mars this detailed- next thing we will live there

more than one display? HAH. This corporate world has gone to all laptops sadly.

Nah...corporate is trying to get away from PC's in favor of citrix terminals. The cloud is the modern day iteration of the dumb terminal hooked up to a mainframe.
