ctfmon.exe cannot end process during shutdown?

Running Windows XP.

ctfmon.exe cannot end process when I try to shut down, gives me the "end now" / "wait" option thing.

I tried removing in registry for loadup, but seems to come back every other reboot.

Any ideas how to stop it?

I tried two clean installations of XP always comes back.

Ctfmon is part of MS office, if you do not use office or any related programs such as outlook or messenger it shouldn't fire up.
If you use office XP your stuck with it...
