It only took $2,100 worth of graphics card and $2,000 of computer to reach the holy grail. :p

Intel QX9770 Yorkfield @ 4.0GHz
3 x GeForce GTX280s in Tri-SLI
2GB DDR3-1800 (2 x 1GB) (PC3-14400) Mushkin RAM
1200W CoolerMaster PSU

shit thats how much my damn pick up truck cost me used.lol

Yes, but only at 1600x1200! Let's see you do 1920x1200 or 2560x1600! :D

Not bad, really. 16xQ is a pretty tremendously intensive setting, albeit not so much for GT200's remarkable bandwidth. Still...not bad.

Whose rig is this?

This is a test rig we're benching here at iBuyPower. :)

I'd just like to say, benchmarks are one thing, playing is another.

I just go my 9800gx2's stepped up to gtx 280's, and they are playing crysis, all vhigh, 16xQAA + multisampling + 16xAF (ok so af doesn't work on vhigh, whatever). With fraps and vsync, the bloody bugger never drops below 60fps. Its ASTOUNDING how great the game both feels and looks now.

crysis is like p90x

i hate it... but i love it

even at 1280x768 that game is farking beautiful - i just need more pc, lots more pc

oh and more cowbell...

What are your specs? What resolution are you running? I got a bad card so I'm down to one but I've tweaked the Crysis config file to get near very high quality at 1920x1200 and it plays like a dream.
