Crucial 512GB M4 SSD (7mm) $150 (factory refurb)

Curious what the warranty is, as I can't find it on the site.

But the size for that price is pretty damn good.

Just ordered one. I have several Crucial M4 256GB in various notebooks and desktops and theyre rock solid. Even have a recertified 64GB C300 as the OS drive to my Plex server - 2 years running 24/7 without a hiccup.

they wanted to charge me sales tax so I'm not gonna pull the trigger on this one. Nice deal though

One year warranty kills it imo

Why? Would you pay 40-50% more on a product for an extra 2 year warranty?(*)
The only reason I'm probably not going to get one is I'm really waiting for 1TB drives to drop 2 roughly $300, but I may do it anyway (if I remember when I get home).

FWIW, I bet you could get a square trade 2 year warranty for less than 60 bucks. 30 buys a 3 year warranty on a $149.99 camera (you have to get to write them to see if they cover SSDs and how much they'd charge).

For home use, I think these are very enticing deals, if you're currently in the market. If not, prices will continue to drop

(*) basing that on the price of a NIB 512GB Crucial drive on Egg.

Because 256 for $80 is getting to be commonplace with newer/better drives.

I watch slickdeals all day every day and that's Bullshit. $99 is a common sale price for that size $80 is an exceptional price. Closest deal I could find was an mx100 for $88.
