I mean posting the same messege on multiple forums. Is that considered bad? I wanted 4 fans so I went to FS/FT of 3 forums and posted the same messeges at Anandtech and Genermayhem. I just want to know if it wrong so I can stop. Thanks

I dont think so. It just makes it confusing as heck when the emails start coming.

At first I thought you meant cross posting on this board, which is not allowed. What is posted off this board is your business alone. :)

I don't konw why it would be wrong just asking :D I know some[H]ers vist more than one forum and I like more than one opion on something so I go to other forums (Anadtech

sure go for it. not everybody browses different forums so if you have what they want on [H] but they only use anand go 4 it cross promotion is good

Free country, free internet post what you want lol.
I'm on like 12 forums and I post same things if I need different points of views and ideas, much better that way :D

Yeah, that's like me asking Sony "hey...umm...is it ok if I buy a Sanyo TV? Because, you know.....I own a Sony...it's in my livingroom, and I want a Sanyo for my bedroom...is this ok?"
Heh heh, LOL! :p

Actually cross-posting boards isn't that big of a deal, unless you do it fairly regularly.

If you start double-posting the same things at different boards regularly I can guarantee you someone will notice and come down on you for it. (Oh yes, I have been busted more than a few times.... )

Sometimes double-posting is a GOOD THING(tm), like when you find out some interesting news that could be of interest to more than just one forum you hang at or like in your case where you're looking for something.....it can get to be a drag when it's trolling or flamebaiting across forums and that kind of thing generally gets noticed/shut-down fast.

Sorry, just cruising thru and actually had something relevant to add....how weird, eh?
