How do these CPUs compare to Intel's e5-2860? Each of our hypervisors have two e5-2860's.

if going back to my teenage years ... man... one of these servers.. this would be like giving RAW POWER into the hands of a kid! THE THINGS YOU COULD DO WITH SUCH POWER

Not sure. Never owned any of those CPUs. Last Xeons I owned where 5650s....

do you mean e5-2680 or e7-2860?

I have systems with dual E5-2680's. They get about 365-375K PPD on 810x when x is not 1. On 8101 WUs, they get 260-270K PPD.

e5-2680, my bad.

Not having any experience in folding, how does the PPDs compare to Server #2 with four 62xx 16-core CPUs @ 3GHz? I do not know the value of PPD (ex. 350 PPD vs 360 PPD vs 450 PPD -- how significant is a +1 PPD, +10 PPD, and +100 PPD increase?)

Would you be open to selling 2 of the 62xx's separately? I only need 2 62xx's but I can understand if you don't want to sell them alone.
 
62xx was sold he last said. Haven't heard from him in few days about 61xx, FYI.
 
A friend of mine is looking to buy the 6180 rig for the $1200 price, so if that's still not sold, don't chuck it on eBay quite yet! He should be around posting in this thread soon.
 
Sorry guys, but I have been out of town here the last couple of days. The second system is sold, first still for sale.
