I've been trying all morning to get a bootable USB Key with Puppy Linux. I don't know why I do this to myself :)

Using a Lenovo T60, I created the CD, booted it, and got into Puppy just fine.

I then took a 1GB CompUSA Flash Key (which has never presented any issues) and used GParted to create a 200MB part1 for Puppy, and an 800MB part2 for fat32. I set the Puppy partition as boot.

I then installed Puppy to the Puppy partition, using basically the default options.

I tried it without specifying an MBR first, then tried with the first of the optional MBR's.

Neither one worked. When I try to boot Puppy from the USB Key (the system DOES present it for boot when F12 is pressed), I get a No OS found or Invalid Boot Disk Error. I've seen both depending on what I was doing.

What am I missing here?

Thanks :)

Ok, I don't need it THAT bad LOL. I can live with the live CD :)

Thanks!
