all my shared media is on a Vista desktop pc. One of the devices I now stream from using a Vizio TV's built in DLNA streaming app. Problem is each time I try to use it it takes forever as it tries to scan through all my shared directories.
I would like to create a separate "DLNA server partition" (for lack of a better term) on this computer that looks at a small subset of my shared directories. In this secondary DLNA server I will only copy in a few files there at a time to keep the quantity small and have this Vizio TV connect to this one server. My other devices can connect to my main DLNA server and see all my media.
If this is possible, what is the most efficient way of doing this?
thanks
