Wow.. Some real cranky people over at crazypc.
All i tried to do was email then and ask if they can add something to my order since it was yet to be processed that i forgot...
...$6+ to ship that little heatsink...when they could easily toss it in the box with the other order that still isint packed up. hehe.
CrazyPC said:We've had an overwhelming response to our sale! In fact, it's been so busy that we've put new sales on hold until we can fill existing orders. Please be advised we see some hording going on and that's not fair to all of our customers as it locks up stock that could go to others. In any case, we will do our best to process and fill orders and reopen sales within the 24 hours.
Severe financial problems don't mean you're forbidden from having any sort of social responsibility. Granted most large B&M stores are liquidated by companies with fewer scruples than Satan, but a mom and pop operation doesn't have enough assets to interest them forcing the owners to do it themselves.CrazyPC has indeed gone crazy.
Let's say you are a vendor, and let's say you are going out of business, and let's say you put item X up for Y dollars and you have a quantity of Z in stock. Clearly you decided that all you want is Y dollars per item sold. Since you are going out of business, why care whether one person buys all of your stock? In fact, that's really preferable in that situation as it significantly simplifies shipping and effort on your end.
No wonder they are going out of business if they don't even understand that concept.

It's different with CrazyPC, they get a large portion of their profits from ridiculous shipping rates. The more orders they can fulfill, the less money they lose.
Crazypc isn't getting the shipping discount that Newegg and Amazon get from UPS.
Nor does it cost $10 to ship a fan.
Base line shipping charge, if they don't have a good arrangement with UPS it could very well be close to $10 for a single fan. It was $13 for me to ship 8 fans, their shipping rates are right in line with most other boutique shops. You can't expect them to offer shipping rates like Newegg and Amazon do with their low volume.

thats just an estimate I believe
So Ill assume I was super lucky then to get 25 fans + 3 heatsinks for 15 bucks via ups?
Did you get the point of putting in your credit card numbers and such? cause that is where I got my final total price for everything I ordered.
Sorry but it does not cost $10 to ship a single fan, I can go to the ups store myself and ship it cheaper, they also use usps which would also be cheaper, they are making profit off the shipping. Let's say they do flat rate box $5 + insurance and dc/tracking that would be like $8 to ship it, I doubt they are paying retail rates either.
You obviously don't ship very often, if at all through UPS. I have daily UPS pickup at my shop and get a 15% discount on regular rates, and there are many areas that I cannot ship to in the country for under $13 through UPS regardless of weight/size. Most packages that weigh 1 to 2 lbs are costing me $8 to $12 to ship via UPS.
I don't ship ups everyday no, but I do ship ups quite often. Maybe the ups store by me has better rates but to ship from utah to new york a 1lb package is around $9 for me.

So you would complain that their base shipping rate is $1 over your best case scenario?![]()
So you expect them to buy a box, tape, packing supplies, and pay someone to pack the box and handle the box all for $1?
You dont happen to know the weight on that order do ya?
Uh oh, one of my orders was not charged for the full amount..... looks like I'm going to be missing something. But what will it be. Hopefully not the stupid 100mm slim fan (which is why I placed an order in the first place).
Also, they shipped my package before they charged me... weird.
Hmm.... I can't figure out what it is. I know the price difference between what I ordered and what I was actually charged, but it doesn't match any of the prices of the items that I ordered, unless they also decreased shipping.
Well, whatever. I don't care if it's the yate loons, but if it's the Scythe slim fan.... You will probably end up hearing about it in the news. Seriously, that stupid slim fan is the only reason that I placed an order. lol, it only made up around 3% of my total purchase. The rest was all impulse shopping.
should be getting my package tomorrow![]()
