Crap... Just shift-deleted a folder

I accidently shift-deleted the wrong folder while cleaning up my desktop and now I lost some pictures that are important to me. Is there any way to recover the folder??

This worked for me to recover an entire dvd rip i deleted. It may help you.

You'll want to avoid writing to the disk until you've recovered everything.

Are you using Vista (or Server 2003 with Shadow Copies)? Just right click the folder -> Previous Versions -> restore the files/folders you shift+deleted.
