Buddy of mine used some liquid metal on his lapped cpu to an EK AIO, the CPU is now stuck to the cold plate on the AIO, any suggestions to get it off?

pry it off with a piece of plastic. if its amd press some foam onto the pins to protect them, and get ready to catch it.

Got it off, thanks, just a bit of pressure on the corners one by one and it popped off... problem is he broke a piece of substrate off with 2 pins earlier, so it may be dead Jim, and it looks like the block needs to be lapped to remove the top layer of leftover metal.
