Alright,
I have a brand new 430W PSU, an old GIGABYTE P35-DS3R Mobo with a Core 2 Duo E6750. Nothing else is plugged in other than the RAM and the PSU. If I connect JUST the ATX connector and not the 12V connector for the CPU, the CPU fan comes on. However, If I connect both the ATX connector and the 12V connector for the CPU, the CPU fan doesn't come on. Does this mean the PSU is not powerful enough.. or could it be a motherboard issue? Keep in mind I have nothing else connected other than 1 stick of RAM. Thanks for your time, please advise!
