Could Thailand flooding cause hard drives to be lower quality?

What do you guys think? Do you think it's possible manufacturers could lower their quality standards to try to boost their hard drive production? Could hard drives produced over the next year or so be more likely to crash as a result?

No. However, keep in mind that some of the early production runs once the lines are able to start back up at full volume might be a little shaky since most of the equipment that isn't being replaced will have been off for quite awhile. Hopefully those disruptions will be minimal though.
