Reminds me of the Corsair DDR1 I had with LEDs that showed read and write activity. It's funny how these things go in cycles. I guess gaudy brightly-lit PCs are back in.

Corsair needs to stop worrying about lighting and start worry about making better ram for the Z170 series. so for all the memory seems to be tweaked for x99 systems. Gskill is really handing it to them

God, I'm with the_real. Corsair has been all about bling lately, when they used to be about top notch quality and performance.

just something else that wont be seen in that case without a window..

oh, I forgot, my pc is so old it only handles ddr2.. and max of 4 gig. :( sigh

I've been buying G.Skill lately too because it's so much cheaper around here than any other name-brand RAM. It works well, and it's priced so low it doesn't make sense to buy another brand. I have 2 x 16GB 3000Mhz CL15 DDR4.

Well I USED to buy Corsair and Patriot. Guess I will stick to Patriot. I don't need any more heat in my case. LED's put out heat. Some colors more than others. Already have too many LED's on motherboard without even trying.

Not liking it, to be honest all of Corsairs RAM has looked pretty shit since the beginning.

Dominator Ram by Corsair is the last set they made I liked. Looked good and performance was not absolute shite. Price was awful though, still this new DDR4 looks hideous to me.

but why????? this is not even close to the top things i would like to see corsair do

What are the lights supposed to go make it run faster, error free, durable?

lights have always been somewhat part of corsair's lineup like the XMS2? and the optional light bar on the Dominators.

What are the lights supposed to go make it run faster, error free, durable?
No, but the rest of it allows for stable overclocking and better heat dissipation. Or you could just click the link.

These look very cool.

I want to see the new special edition dominators. I am a sucker for brushed aluminum/chrome.

Hey anyone know a way to make them pulse in sync or make them static? Can't find any information on that anywhere :(

If you want to pay top dollar for defective ram, then definitely buy Corsair.
