I'd love a pair of these to help drown out the noise of my children asking for things while I try to blow away my enemies in Team Fortress 2. With these amazing headphones, the sounds of explosions and gunfire will make real life fade away and I can enjoy a few minutes of heavenly bliss listening to the deathly screams of my enemies as I target them with my shotgun! BOOOM!!!!

i need them because my gf doesnt want me playing, so i have to be silent, yet hear my enemies breathe. teehee :(

I need to hear who is coming up behind me in quake live with better noise isolation than my open air headphones... and I am intrigued by Corsair headphones!

I guess I'm in if the contest is still open.

I need the headphones t hear my games better because I can't hear anything over the sound of my porn playing on the second monitor.

I need to replace my old phones because the left driver randomly cuts out. Its going to drive me over the edge.

I work from 4PM to midnight every day at the datacenter... so when I get home, people are asleep. I urgently need a quality pair of headphones so I can game after work without waking up the house and neighbors!

Big ups Corsair for giving back to the community... and Hard OCP of course!

my kids are way to noisy and my wife to loud, so if i had some nice new headphones I could game loudly enough to drown them out! :)

I live in apartments and I think I'm ticking off my neighbors by blasting my sound. Maybe the headphones would help?

So that I can ear pansy spies sneaking up behind me in TF2. The awesome mic will allow noobs to hear me more clearly when I tell them how much they suck! All kidding aside, these look like a great set of "cans".

I need to hear my games better because it's high time I am the humble recipient of a give-away.

Why I need to hear my games better?

Have you ever lived with a hyper active 4 yr old, 2 cats that hate each other and a wife who loves the sound of her own voice?

Noise canceling....heck....I need "Sound of life" canceling technology. >< It used to be you could go sit on the can as a place of refuge for however long it took to read whatever you brought....now I have a son poping his head in asking if I am going pooh and if I can come play Star Wars legos with him.

For f's sake, give me some peace and quite back in my life so I can even HEAR my games, let alone "better". =/

I want to be able to clearly hear my game audio, background music, and my friends on Ventrilo at the same time :)

1. So the wife will stop complaining about the noise while my fleet is conquering the solar system.
2. So the sounds of my teen blowing everything to bits in CoD and Halo don't interfere with my NFL and NHL watching.
3. To improve the sound from my laptop, especially for movies.

The hiss that I hear on my current headphones, PLUS the creaking of the earphone hinges take a bit away from the gaming experience.

Lets be honest now a days who can afford a 100 dollar gaming headset. Well I sure cant. Would I love to own one yes I would. Right now I play on a set of Chinzty really old set of Harman/Kardon desktop speakers from who knows when. they used to be white lol but they are now Tan/Yellowish from the years. (Dont smoke).

In for this. Would love to finaly be able to here people behind me instead of just turning around and guessing

I want to win this headset, so that I can hear the footsteps of tangos better while effectively drowning out my fiancee's requests/demands :D

The bulk of my PC gaming is when my wife and 2year old daughter are sleeping so I need to be the only one hearing anything .. hard to do on both accounts with either speakers turned way down or just gaming with no sound.

I work in Iraq, and with all the explosions and gunfire, it makes it very hard to concentrate on what's really important! Despite my previous thoughts to the contrary, the real deal does -not- actually add to the immersion.

Because I'd rather have a comfortable headset to make my eardrums feel like bleeding not my actual ears.

I could use this for late night gaming, the wife and neighbors just don't share my enthusiasm for shooters at 3 AM.
