Corsair CX430 v2 whine

Is a high pitched whine normal? It's there even when the system is not powered on. Although it's a bit annoying, I just wanted to make sure it was fine.

Coil whine, and it doesn't affect anything. Usually, it's too high pitched for most people to hear it, but a certain set of circumstances will make it audible (set of circumstances is usually random). If it annoys you, Corsair or wherever you bought it from are usually good at allowing you to RMA it.

Thanks. I'll keep it for now, maybe when I add my 5770 the load might change the whine.
