Corsair 600w + 8GB Ripjaws = $41 AR

Power supply is junk. The last 10 reviews are DOA or died right away. Stay away. Shame because RAM and a power supply for that price is HOT.
 
The first three pages of reviews are almost exclusively bad. That's what I am going off of. I almost bought this for my kids build but the reviews scared me away.
 
I've had one, it was fine for me- powered a 1366 hex core rig w/ 5870 mining and folding just fine.

I am not seeing this...did you sort by lowest to highest or something?
 
its a great price for the power supply, but those Corsair CX units aren't up to par with the TX / HX
not that anyone expects them to be...they just aren't.

For the price, this is a good deal. If I needed an PSU replacement, i'd be all over this.
