Looking for solutions where we can get files copied or transferred to another server on the network that is at another branch and connected via private fiber; problem is retaining the permissions and capping the transfer speed (so as not to clog up the pipe completely).
Examples of solutions that don't work:
FTP would work for capping the speed, but permissions and security settings are not retained.
Plain copy+paste would work for permissions and security settings, but cannot be capped and would clog the pipe.
Need something that retains permissions and security and can have a capped transfer speed.
