I don't have personal experience with your current model, but if it's like any of the other Dell's I've worked on those 4-pin fans are proprietary. I believe you can modify a standard 4-pin fan so that at least you'll get airflow but the BIOS may complain during POST requiring keyboard input before allowing you to continue to boot.
