Hi I'm planning to build ITX (mild)gaming system with Lian Li PC-TU100 case, but just not sure about the heatsink/fan, system spec:
CPU: Intel i5 5675C
HSF: Noctua NH-L9i (!?!)
M/B: Asus Z97I-PLUS
RAM: 16GB G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400
GPU: 4GB Asus GTX970 DC Mini
SSD: 500GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2
CASE: Lian Li PC-TU100 Black
PSU: 500W Silverstone SX500-LG

I want use Corsair Hydro H60 SE but bit worried about the 30cm tubing length and radiator/fan blocking the GPU.

fuck aio, why bother with this crap, if you want to improve your cpu cooling just get a NF-A9 PWM (or B9 pwm) for your NH-L9i

not sure if that would really help. dondan compared the NH-L9i with the NF-A9x14 and NF-A9 PWM fan, and the a9x14 actually performed better. (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1799326, in the first post)

sorry, can't really help you with your issue.. but out of curiosity, why the 5675C if you have use an dedicated gpu?

dondan what, its what i use on my 4770s. i am admittedly a noctua whore, i love their products but the one thing of them that i *really* dislike is the NF-A9X14, its noisy and crappy in comparsion to their 25mm 9cm fans.

same reason D4rkn3ss use 4770s :) i.e. prefer 65W TDP processor cos it'll run cooler in tiny case, etc.

I like Noctua heatsink but NH-L9i is bit puny, and I think it suppose to be only good for 65W TDP processors. So I rather get Corsair Hydro H60 SE since the case should have enough room for the AIO cooler and H60 only costs ~$30 more than NH-L9i.

But as I said I'm bit worried about the tubing length, and the GPU getting blocked.

Do you think Noctua NH-L9x65(without the fan and have the PSU fan facing the CPU) would be better than Noctua NH-L9i? L9x65 looks much better than L9i but it weighs bit less(340g vs 345g).
