Hey guys, i got a lil problem. About 2 months ago i reformatted my PC. Unfortunately, i didn't get to save my favorites in Firefox (i swear to god that i saved that bookmark.html). Well, i went ahead used a app to do some digging on my pc to see if it could could recover the file. It came up with a file called

bookmarks-2009-03-23.json

Is there anyway that i could read this file and possibly see if it has any of my book marks included from march? Any thoughts would help! Thank you! :D

yep, JSON is javascript object notation. it's a standard. you should be able to open the file, copy the contents into a javascript string and "eval" it. if you paste the contents, i'm sure ppl can help.

EDIT: http://json.org/examples.html to learn more
