Someone suggested I try out a CMS (content management system). I was looking for ways to edit/add pages without linking all of the pages together, or having to ftp, download, upload etc.
Drupal,Geeklog,Joomla, mambo, PHP-Nuke, phpWCMS, phpWebSite, Post-Nuke Siteframe, TYPO3, Xoops. Ive installed and played around with joomla and mambo, they seem decent.
The webpage will be somewhat of a gaming clan/video hosting type deal. Just looking for an easy way to keep pages clean, and easy to add crap without FTP'ing and linking pages together by hand. Any in that list worth a look into? Its been almost six years since my last big website project, and back then I did all the crap by hand on an old decrepid laptop. Dont want to go through that again.
