I have a VGA cable from my CRT Monitor plugged into my Dell USB-C WD15 docking station and I have the USB-C cable plugged into my RTX 2070 (GPU has USB-C port). So far I have not been able to have the docking station receive video and send it out through the VGA port or any other port, can anyone help?

I don't really have an answer, but is anything else plugged into the GPU? AFAIK, the priority for Turing cards is now DP--> HDMI--> USB-C (used to be VGA-->DVI-->HDMI-->DP a long time ago). Turing (iirc) only supports 4 concurrent outputs, too.

Also, is the Dell dock plugged into its power brick?

The Dell dock is plugged into the power brick, I'm not using any other displays on the GPU either, just the CRT

I have a similar dell dock at work on a laptop, but I think the laptop has thunderbolt on the usb c port. According to https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/...c-port-on-rtx-graphics-cards-isnt-just-for-vr the gpu may not have thunderbolt, so that might be your issue. I am not completely sure on the required specs to get video over the connection. Check out the supported devices here :https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod...k_130w_wd15_business_thunderbolt_docking.html

This. The port on the GPU is just DisplayPort over USB-C AFAIK

Ah, right. The WD15, if it's a TB3 dock (I thought just the TB16 and WD19TB were), then the older TB3 devices couldn't fallback to USB mode (and some newer devices still won't work on USB mode, anyways).
