Configuring monitor color/etc/etc

Is there any easy way to configure monitor color brightness/etc/etc? I just acquired a VS VX2235 and some of the coloring is all weird and I can't seem to get it right =/

could be a defective monitor

there shouldnt be any color deficiencies on a monitor

usually the only thing you adjust is the brightness/contrast for the most part. there isnt a need to adjust the colors unless you are calibrating.

It seems my viewing angle is just terrible on this monitor =/ Have to look at it straight on or from a distance greater than 2 feet to seem normal, else it starts looking off color =/

Bad viewing angles and such. Eh, It's a TN. 'Nuff said.
