I play a game online called Tribes 2, its a first person shooter, sometimes with im just playing with friends or messing about ill make the game play in a windows at 800x600 while my desktop is 1024x768, that way i can browse and talk on Trillian as well as play.
Anyway here is how this releates to this
When im at tomshardware.com (has lots of flash ads) i will notice Tribes 2's Frame rate will drop all the way to 9 Fps, i close that tab in mozilla or browse to a different page and bam back to 70 frams per second. Flash is weird like that.
