Hey all,
A friend of mine is having some problems with his computer, so I decided to take a look at it with the hope of finding a solution. With some testing, I believe I have narrowed the problem down to MS Office 2003. Every time someone uses any application under MS Office, the computer will randomly restart without any warning messages.
I have tried using other similar applications like notepad and Wordpad and the computer has no problems. I also ran prime95 for 24 hours and everything was fine. I have also checked for viruses and have reinstalled Office as well. Every attempt to find a resolve has failed.
My last option is to reformat the computer and start fresh, but I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or has any suggestions that I could try.
