shit case is shit. subtract $60 from the savings.

Crappy psu can kill other components. So deduct $80 from the "savings" price and throw the psu away.
The hdd is overpriced by at least $20, more like $30.

So that's $160 deducted from the "savings" and you get to save a mere "$20"

Also, 7850's are only worth $100 new, and you can get a used one for $80.

Newegg combos for a whole computer are NEVER worthwhile because of the crappy case & psu.

The carbide 200R has usb3 and is only $40 after $10 rebate now.

Also, who here on [H] would pay $160 for an AMD 8-core bulldozer when you can get a used 2500k for the same price?

This thread might quite possibly qualify for the worst "deal" ever.

It's a lot slower than this one. If you've got a better $400 rig I'd love to see it. And I don't mean used.

doesnt the 7770 out perform the 650ti and cost $10 less? id probably also drop 8gb down to 4gb if we are really trying to be budget.

Who in their right mind would pay $160 for a used 2500k when they can get a six core hyper threaded intel for $75???

HEC power supply = Crap

I've built 20 computers with those PSUs and 5-6 have already blown.

Not sure if serious.

As to "who would get an AMD 8-core over a 2500k for $160", I raise my hand...

In any case, I agree that the case and power supply are poopy, but still seems like a decent price for the hardware.

The bad PSU kills the deal.

For me the Seagate is useless, too.
