compatable CPU for biostar p4m890-m7 se?

I looked it up on the Biostar website but I'm still not sure. I have a E3200 celeron that I though would work but couldn't get it to boot. I had the system working fine with a 430 Celeron. Would a bios update work? I also have a E4400 I can put in but dont want to waste my time if it will not work. Thank
 
That board is listed as supporting Core 2 Duo CPUs, but since it isn't accepting yours I suspect it is only compatible with the older 65nm Conroe/Allendale core and not newer 45nm CPUs like the E3200 you bought. Unfortunately they don't list any more specifics on their website, but perhaps there is more detailed information in the manual that you can check out.
 
I switched the E3200 and my E4400 and everything works now. I thought that would probably be the case but was not wanting to have to take the time and have it now work. Thanks for the help
