i pulled this LCD unit off of this old compaq server my dad has. it plugs into the floppy port. it doesnt show up in device manager though. so im guessing the driver for it arent built into the little unit. heres a picture...
If you've installed the latest 'ROMPaq' there should be an 'intergrated LCD display' program (i think).
It won't show up under Windows, and i don't know of any other way of accessing it through software.

And it's not the floppy port. Just physically identical. Make sure you have it in the right one, it should put a bunch of info out when you turn the machine on.
