Company of Heroes graphics card settings suggestions

I've done a search but didn't find much on this so...

Anyone have any graphics settings suggestions for my rig:

E6600 Intel dual core cpu

P5N32-E Sli motherboard

Nvidia Geforce 8800 Gts graphics card

dell 2405 fpw 24'' lcd monitor

1 terrabyte hard drive space

2 gig corsair ddr

Vista 64 bit ultimate Os


I checked some sites that mentioned something about graphics cards performance and settings

With max settings at 1920x1200, there is alot of lag especially when loading, and certain fmv sequences. It's more than annoying :[


So any help please with downgrading settings without giving away too much :D
 
I have a similar setup in my sig.

Got 87-95 FPS 1280x1024 all max on COH and ~9800-ish on 3dmark06
 
hm sweet.

I turned everything max this time, and turned off aa. The performance test said it did great. When playing actual game ... so much lag :/

I'll try a lower reso :[ *cry
 
It looks great and runs fine for me @1680x1050 with the rig you see in my sig...you shouldn't have any problem running it smoothly.
 
Could it be a Vista + 64bit thing?

I play at 1680x1050 on my older rig, in sig. No AA most things turned on high.
 
My setup's similar except with an E6400 and Vista 32-Bit. I can play at 70+ fps at 1600x1200 all setting maxed except textures set to high instead of ultra. It gets choppy at ultra. Also, I use the game's AA setting and turn off the nvidia setting.
 
I dunno about vista, but on XP with everything turned on max at 1920x1200. I never lag in game:)
