Built this to run my home media but decided to use something a little simpler. I booted up the system to test out
FreeNAS which works great off a USB flash drive which has its own header directly on the motherboard.
Has not been used since, sits in box in my closet. The specs are below, please follow the links for parts pricing.
Case - Chenbro SR30169
Motherboard - Supernicro MBD-A1SRi-2758F-O
Memory - 2x Kingston KVR16LSE11/8KF (16gb total)
Power Supply - Silverstone ST45SF-G
All were purchased new from Newegg. The total paid was $680+ just for the NAS components.
Looking to get $old shipped OBO. This NAS is heavy and will be expensive to ship insured.
I also have three new, unopened WD RED 3tb drives. I can make a deal on these with the NAS. (Hard Drives $old)
May consider a trade for an EVGA 1080. I would prefer a card from EVGA, I am NOT interested in anything from Asus. May be open to other trades, shoot me a PM.
This board has a dedicated four cluster gigabit ethernet group that runs on its own controller. Can be used to setup a router or load balancing. Fifth gigabit port for standard transmission.
