COD4 Fraps 1st Impression

I picked COD4 up last night and played from about 7pm to 4am last night
and I'm hella tired today with only getting 2 hours of sleep

For single player I only spent a half hour or so on and got up to the level
where the dogs attack you, I used fraps to record an example of the dog attack,
this particular map is dark, but you get the idea...

Even with only completing a couple levels of the single player I have to say
it's one of the best games I've played.

The eyecandy is great and it's a true modern warfare. I really like the
HDR lighting in this game, the bloom effects when walking from inside
to outside is amazing and the sunrays are a really cool effect.

I spent most of my time playing the multiplayer and already reached
Staff Sergeant. The only downside to the MP is that the maps are small
and the servers are setup for very fast rounds, maybe 5-10 minutes per map.

The upside to this is that the action is intense, but controllable.

The best feature of this game I think is that each player has 5 customizable
loadouts they can create. As you play the game you unlock different perks.

The perks and add-ons that you unlock are awesome and there is ALOT of them to get.
Right now I've got this sick M4 with a laser sight that I customized with green camo paint
and a grenade launcher. I also have "Deep Impact" and "Sonic Explosive" add-on's, the
deep impact is used to enhance your bullets to blow through walls and through the "armor"
add-on that can be unlocked. I can go on and on about upgrades, but I'll let you guys see it
for yourself. The only downside is that noobs just starting out tend to get owned by my M4
and I feel bad since they don't have any special weapons yet..... NOT Also if you get th
add-on for special grenade's get the Stun Nades, If you use those on the enemy it immobilize
them and you can go in fro the knife kill, Knifing is badass!

Anyways I say get the game its defiantly worth it and so far it's the best game out IMO.

wow. i NEVER like military games but COD4 i will be buying as soon as I have a video card. game has serious atmosphere.

wow, never seen you post before but very nice job I think this was a well written mini-review lol. I just grabbed my copy today so im hoping to avoid your M4 online
