Wow, this is cheap. I paid more for one off a user on here a few years back.

am4 compatible with bracket?????????

Huh, tough to tell. The description says yeah, if you get the "LED AM4 compatible version" whatever that means.

For what its worth, I transferred my old Hyper 212+ from a 2500K to a 1700X using a bracket from MicroCenter and adding some rubber washers to the back of the board to tighten things up per Burticus here: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Air Cooler Review @ [H]

I would hope that "refurb" means a new fan and not some repair to the cooler itself

Refurb's usually are returns that were barely used and had no damage or failures, and then are "restored to like-new" whatever that means is up to the vendor.

Per newegg....

This means the product was tested and repaired as required to meet the standards of the refurbisher, which may or may not be the original manufacturer. Any exceptions to the condition of the item outside the manufacturer’s information should be provided in the listing, up to and including warranty details.

So basically it's tested to be functional and cleaned up to look like new, as best as possible. On the one hand, it most likely won't arrive DOA. On the other it may have some nicks and scrapes.

ive got a couple of these bnib in my parts bin :) you can never have enough solid hs! this has been my go to air cooler forever. if you cant get ahold of the 212 or would rather not do the refurb thing. check out the deepcool gammax 400 its pretty much the same performance wise but usually goes for far less than the 212 evo or led. $17 on sale and am4 ready.

Thanks! My Cooler Master 240mm AIO just died. Picked one of these up while I send it in for RMA. Gotta keep my 1700X cool.

We accidently ordered a refurb 212 from amazon recently and some of the mounting hardware was stripped. I would pay a few dollars more and not deal with the hassle.

Got this in the mail - finally. Fedex decided it wasn't a big deal to deliver on time.

Everything looked new except the packaging, almost like some bit was forgotten from the factory and they had to open it back up and stick a part inside.
