Cleaning the inside of a LCD screen on a laptop

I just recently purchased a Dell D600 laptop on eBay (bad move, I know). Anyway, it has 0 dead pixels and I cleaned the outside of the screen, but it appears as if there is dust on the inside of the screen. Is this true, and if so, how do I clean it? Is it possible to open up the screen on the D600 and clean inside?
