Check Out my HTPC build

Nice setup, mine is similiar only i'm using the 680i chipset. You can't go wrong when pairing an Intel Board with an Intel CPU.

Anyway, only 3 things stand out where you could save some money.

1. If your not a gamer, than the cheaper 8500 card will perform just as well in video tasks. If you're worried that you wont get HDCP in an 8500, the Gigabyte Passively Cooled 8500 has HDCP and is completely silent.

2. The harddrive "RE" version is not necessary. I have 4 "SE" versions in RAID 5 and they work flawlessy and are extremely fast and quiet & CHEAPER>

3. Power Supply? I know that Ahanix Website states the 350watt but most times you look at these, they don't come with the Power Supply. I have the MCE701 and it's AWESOME!! I paired it with a Cosair 620HX.:p

I see you got an HD dvd player for your HTPC. Which one did you get?

The HD-DVD drive is attached to my Xbox 360...not my HTPC...
