Cheapest card to display 1440p?

I need a cheap video card that will display 1440p over DP. 144hz would be a plus. I am looking at this card on Ebay. I see some of these 730's have DP and some don't, I am hoping the DP version can do 1440p.

you need DP 1.2 to do that, and every NVIDIA card since Kepler has had DP 1.2 support.

But, if you don't want to mess around with clunky oem gt 730s, you can always step-up to gtx 750 (still bus-powered, but tons off retail models, most with single DP)

You could use dl-dvi through a hdmi/dp adapter if your card can push that many pixels over dvi, but it'd probably end up costing more for a flaky solution.

I don't know why something like the R5 340 wouldn't work? Similar performance to the GT 730, $15 shipped on fleabae for low-profile, $17 for full-height. Displayport and DVI, supports up to 4K on DP according to gpuzoo, if that's accurate.

Are you intending to game at 1440, or just have the windows desktop at 1440?

Alternatively the firepro w2100 is a nice card. Driver support for these cards are phenomenal under any os.

Thanks folks, I ended up with a used RX 550 4GB. This will just be to get 1440p to my desktop, but looks like it can play easy to run games at low settings if I get the itch.
