cheap laptops?

Neither a T22 or T30 are really gaming laptops... unless a T22 with Pentium 3 and 8MB Savage/IX (1/2 the performance of a Savage4 + 64-bit memory) or a T30 with Pentium 4-M and 16MB Radeon 7500 qualifies as a "gaming" laptop. The T30/7500 can probably play the original counter strike in low resolution. 
Both are fine sub-6lb portables though.
How much is your budget laxman144? If you have $500-$600, you can grab a Dell Inspiron 6000 P-M 1.5GHz (easily overclocked to 2GHz) and w/x300 128MB (128-bit memory, equal to a 9600 non-pro) from the dell outlet on the next sale.

D3LL sucks. Got a relative or friend working at a large business that buys and replaces laptops on a fairly regular basis? They sell them off after a year or two. I know of a couple places that do this and my friend just got an IBM for $100. I don't know the model # but IIRC it had the centrino chipset.

Look for the Uniwill 755IA. It needs a CPU, Ram, HD but it's a gaming laptop. You won't play HL2 at amazing speeds but it is cheap.

When do they have sales? Bc theyre around $900-$1000 at the outlet now...
