Hi folks:
What would you recommend for cost effective 10Gb ethernet switch and PC adaptors?

Would be nice if there was a choice of 6 to 12 ports.
Thanks

Look up Mikrotik switches (on Amazon) and Aquantia PCIe cards for 10Gbase-T using CAT6 or CAT6a.

You can use 10G SFP+ NICs with direct attach cables (DACs) or short fiber runs with switches that have SFP+ ports, including from Mikrotik, and that may be a better option depending on what all you want to hook up at 10Gbit.

used cisco gear can be really cheap on ebay. I picked up two 3560-10g for a 100 on craigslist.
