Hmm, offered last night, it was accepted and my payment confirmation came through from paypal. Unfortunately I haven't seen an activation code yet, granted its only been 14 hours but it sounds like others have been getting theirs much quicker :(

What?! I bought ME as my own birthday present, don't tell me I won't get it in time

(And WTH is up with the $0,10 "shipping expenses"? Last time I checked e-mail was still free)

I would email him asking where your code is.

Hence why you offer 9.90 and not 10$. :D

My offer was accepted last night, Paypal was sent. Woke up to the code in my inbox, downloading Burnout as I type this.

Wow I'm really curious as to how he's obtaining them for so cheap (or even free)

And thanks a load for this, definitely bookmarking this man! Hopefully this thread won't get locked because these are some serious deals

Well, my codes for Crysis and Burnout Paradise didn't work in the EA loader. I'll be contacting him soon.

My Burnout Paradise didn't either, he then sent me a picture of the key label and it turned out he had mistaken an "I" for a "J".

Well, the burnout one said it was already in use. The Crysis one said it wasn't eligible for activation.

make sure to put the activation code as xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx otherwise it will say "code already used" even if its a good code. I learned this from the g2play thread in here...so at least it solved my problem when i bought from g2play;)

I copied it exactly as he had it in the message, dashes and all. Still waiting on a response.

It seems like he might be swamped with orders right now or he took today off.

Yes if you look at his sales history you can see on most days he only makes 2-4 sales but since this thread was posted (yesterday) he's got a lot more

Alright, a quick update. I tried burnout once more, was told it was already in use again, so I figured I'd try restarting the EA Downloader. Lo and behold I was already using the key  Thanks EA.

The issue still stands with Crysis not being valid for activation though. I have a feeling he may have typed something wrong.

a friend of mine found a EA keygen a while back... I wouldn't doubt if these are not legit keycodes seeing that they are all EA games... and he's selling them all for the same price when some are worth more than others.. . not that that effects you buyers any because the codes work and Its not illegal to buy I dont think

^^ above post.. i doubt he typed wrong... message him about it... if he gives you a completely new code... message on here again because that means he's got the ea keylogger with every game on it... and he's just clicking generate. . . sometimes keygens regenerate the same codes for people and its "already in use"

I have a feeling EA knows about the keygen too and has already blacklisted the keys. People have mentioned he has sent a picture of the key label when he typed something wrong.

Mine, if you had read the above post, was an error with the EA downloader. The other may be an issue with a typo.

BTW, to anybody who bought Mirror's Edge, is the start icon for the bonus music CD greyed out for you?

Just got my key for LOTR..Activated fine,DLing now..Will report back when done..

Got a response back. For some reason EA Downloader didn't like the key, so he had me go to:

https://profile.ea.com/gamereg.do?locale=en_IE

and activate it there. Worked like a charm. If you're having issues, try that activation route as well.

EDIT: Hmmmm, seems that page was linked in the auction. All my fault, and the fact that the seller responded quickly cemented it for me. I asked him to cancel my two other best offers at $10 so I could pay full price.

I bought 3 games been about 5 hours since I paid

did he just email the codes to you guys through your ebay email addy?

Same thing happened to me with Mirror's Edge, it seems sometimes when you put the key in and click continue, it does not advance to the next tab and you think it didn't work and try to reactivate it, then it says key is in use.

So if this happens. just click to the tab with your email on it and see if its there.

As far as Mirror's Edge goes, I think I fucked something up when I tried to start it, (this is after I activated, downloaded and installed it) I had my Outpost Firewall running and set to very high security (normally use ZoneAlarm, but was having issues with Vista) was going through the popups of allowing access to this and that, but I guess the game took to long to connect to the internet and said there was no internet connection, so I disabled the firewall and restarted the game. Now I get this message.

"The game cannot start. For security reasons, the registration code for your game has been deactivated. Please refer to our customer service website to resolve this issue."

"Please refer to our customer service website to resolve this issue" - not a damn thing about this problem, anywhere, Google as well.

So I submitted a question and told EA the same thing and they replied:

Hi ,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.In order to assist you with this issue, we request you to please provide us with the following details:

Your full name:
Screen name/Persona:
Your Ea.com email account name:
Your email id listed on account:
Your date of birth:
Your Zip code:

Also please provide us a scanned image of the game manual showing your CD key. Once we have the information we will try and assist you as soon as possible.

We look forward to your reply.

Thank you,

Well they got all but the scan of course, so will see what happens.

Told the Ebay dude about it and he said he'd send me another key. Still waiting.

Hmmm...

Hope it was just a connection/authorization/DRM problem due to me forgetting to lower my firewall security setting.

What's the deal with these, is anyone feeling like they're buying gray market / black market goods off this guy? Wonder if the codes work for now and may somehow get flagged by EA at a later time and get de-activated? Would't mind picking up Paradise since I tried the 30min Trial the other night, pretty good looking game, it'd be good fun for cheap.

Hmmmmmm. Been meaning to pick up burnout for ps3 for a while now. Should I just be cheap and get the PC version at $10?

Been waiting 24 hours to see if my offer was accepted. Waiting sucks.

The fact that this guy seems to have an endless supply of these games and all are at the same price, makes me believe these codes are not legit. I remember buying a Diablo 2 code from some website for $5. It worked for a short period of time but turned out to be a fake.

Got a reply back from EA:

"Hi, Thank you for writing to Electronic Arts customer support.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. We have activated your serial key again. Please try to play game again. Hope this resolves your issue.

If there is anything else we may do to assist you please let us know.

Thank you,"

Sweet... Now to try the game. Gonna be a while before I can though. :(

Think this nullifies the thoughts that these could be bad keys, because if they were, don't you think EA would have found out that it was due to my recent ordeal above?

been 24 hours since I paid, I haven't gotten any response from him yet. Starting to get worried

So are these real keys or is he betting on a keygen not picking out an already used key?

He's been doing this for a while now with no negative feedback. Even if he is using a keygen, it obviously works %100 according to his feedback and replies in this thread.

Also some members here said he emailed them a photo of the CD KEY sticker so he just gets it real cheap somehow it seems

Well he does have 100 positive. There's not really any way we can tell if they are legit or not without contacting EA with the codes they send, and potentially getting your code invalidated if only for the reason you don't actually have the physical materials that it came in.

It's possible these are keygened, but it's also possible he picked them up wholesale or in massive quanitities either from companies going bellyup and clearancing things at super-low prices, or somehow getting them very cheap in mexico. A lot of things actually are much cheaper in other places so after the selling fees and conversion he actually could be making good profit.

Another option is that he/they know people who work at stores and they steal legitimate boxes in bulk. I went to a electronics store in CA one time and they couldn't sell me the camera they were offering me at some ridiculously low price. They sent a guy out to look for it and apparently it wasn't available at any of the major superstores.

Hard to say for sure what the deal is. As I said, this guy appears to have really good feedback, but if you ask him about it of course he'll tell you they're all legit.

Same here. I paid yesterday morning and still have not heard anything.

I decided to contact him via Ebay and he e-mailed my keys within an hour. I was able to register both keys and I am downloading now.

He never accepted my offer for 10 on Mirrors edge, and many others expired as well.

well his name is Mexicanbro, maybe he did get them from mexico or some place liquidating...who knows usually if its too good to be true...but in this case with the + feedback all seems to be good.
