I am looking to build a gaming pc designed for MX Simulator. I used to have a small build with an i5-750, 4gb ddr3, and gtx 550ti which handled MX Simulator at maxed graphic settings. '

I am looking to build a new one with better specs, but I do not want to spend anything over $250.

Any suggestion on components I should use for this build?

Outside of switching your GPU I am not sure you would improve your performance replacing your CPU + motherboard + RAM for only $250. I expect whatever you get in that price range would be a downgrade.

You're allowed to do whatever you want

If I didn't suggest you search first & answer the standard build questions - someone else would have.

Best I could manage. No dedicated video card. No clue if this will manage even remotely like the 550Ti. BUT--this section doesn't deal with used gear since prices are what they are. Like Troy said, used might be your best bet. OR hit up craigslist find an old Dell with an i5 or something and add a video card for the remaining money.

    Good luck.

    I purchased a Used Lenovo H50.

    Specs:

    A8 7600
    16gb ddr3 ram
    650w psu
    integrated r7 Graphics
    dvd drive
    bluetooth and wireless
    Windows 10
    Keyboard and mouse

I purchased it for $180, so that leaves me a good amount of room for a graphcis card. Thank you guys for all the help and opinions!

Yea, I think this is the best you can get for the money.
SSD is the right way to go, but save few more bucks and get a aditional HDD for bigger files.

You can get something like a used Geforce GTX 670/760 or Radeon HD 7970 for $70 (around here anyway), look into offers at your local local auction site.
