I’m on octane render but I think those have rtx support of a while now

And yet everyone swears up and down that RTX is not making any inroads. In what universe do you live that faster ray tracing is not of a benefit?

It will take time for all consumers to own hardware, but it's already a whole lot cheaper. Just like real-time lighting took awhile to find i9t's way into integrated graphics, RTX will find it's way eventually.
