I just installed Vista and I'm looking for a way to change the default media player. I have a logitech elite keyboard (love it) and want my media, play, stop and next/prev buttons to work with winamp all the time and not windows media player as they do by default.

The iTouch software that used to control this in XP isn't supported with Vista and the keyboard just uses the default microsoft driver according to logitech's website.

FYI I found the "default programs" module in control panel, but don't know how to add winamp to the choice of selectable programs.

Been looking for the same thing. Just found it -

Preferences -> Global Hotkeys -> Enable.

Should probably also mention that you need to make sure you select "Global Hotkey Support" when installing.

Ha, that was a little too easy...Thanks!
